Everyday Feet
RUSH™ FOOT: The Rush™ foot from Proteor is made of a composite fiber material, Flexeon, which is three times more flexible than carbon-fiber materials used in conventional prosthetic feet. The foot is designed for lower extremity amputees with higher activity levels. Commonly referred to as “the yellow foot” due to the unique characteristic that distinguishes it from black carbon fiber feet.
Ottobock Triton: The prosthetic feet in the Triton family of products are based on the interactive triangular spring system. Three interconnected spring elements ensure remarkably smooth rollover characteristics. Thanks to their outstanding dynamics and flexibility, all Triton feet are suitable for a broad range of applications from everyday use to recreational sports. Benefits include greater control and safety when bending the knee; reaction to body weight being shifted from one foot to the other is neutral, which enhances stability and relaxation; users are able to move confidently into the swing phase and give a high variable step length.
Ottobock Trias: Innovative design and lightweight construction technology combine for a foot with excellent energy return. Secure, controlled movements help the user build self-confidence. The foot adapts to different walking speeds and to uneven terrain without a loss of comfort, while simultaneously reducing strain on the sound limb.
Össur Pro-Flex Family: Featuring a three-blade design with a foot blade that incorporates a full effective toe lever and a more anatomical split toe, this design helps generate exceptional toe-off energy and a fluid, natural progression from heel-strike to toe-off.
- The Pivot, a multi-blade foot, featuring a pivot mechanism, is smooth, comfortable, and adapts seamlessly to daily needs. It provides easy and natural movement, with a superior range of ankle motion and powered push-off without a motor. The torsion models combine the mechanical power of Össur’s Pro-Flex design with shock absorption and rotational capabilities to facilitate a smooth gait and reduce shear forces on residual limbs, thereby helping to protect the user’s sound side.
- The Pro-Flex® LP Align adapts to a range of footwear and has a natural arch and footprint.
- The Pro-Flex XC Torsion is for users who enjoy hiking and jogging as well as walking on level ground.
- The Pro-Flex LP Torsion is specifically designed for users with longer residual limbs.
- The LP Torsion and XC Torsion both feature a lightweight anatomical foot cover with a steady-grip sole for barefoot stability on wet or slick surfaces and a sandal toe for a wide range of footwear, including flip flops.
Össur Re-Flex Rotate™: Designed for the individual who walks aggressively or engages in activities that require some degree of rotation, such as swinging a golf club or other appliance. The internal titanium coil spring of Re-Flex Rotate™ both reduces impact and enhances control and comfort during everyday activities.
Fillauer AllPro: Combining high flexibility and dynamic performance, this foot meets the amputee’s multiaxial needs. If exercise or sports are on the activity list, it easily transitions from the gym to the tennis and basketball courts, as well as the soccer, football, and lacrosse fields.
Fillauer Aeris Performance LP: This 100% carbon composite foot system uses multiple springs to increase the range of flexibility and provide smooth, stable progression from heel-strike to toe-off.
Freedom Innovations Silhouette: The Silhouette prosthetic foot offers multi-axial motion and refined cosmetics in a lightweight, flexible design. A highly responsive energy storage and return device, the Silhouette is manufactured using specially engineered carbon fiber lay-ups so that users feel comfortable for long periods of time. The product features a dynamic posterior attached heel and compliant toe, enabling truly smooth roll-over and natural gait. A sole plate with tri-durometer urethane strips, a narrowed keel and a flexible pylon provide multi-axial motion with a natural lateral to medial rollover, allowing amputees to maneuver uneven terrain with ease.
Freedom Innovations Renegade®: Freedom Innovations Renegade utilizes patented Z-shape technology for high shock absorption along with greater energy return and forward stride motion, providing a smooth gait regardless of the wearer’s speed. Because of the foot’s angular design, energy is returned to all key areas of the leg, providing optimum cushioning of the residual limb, and also the highest possible level of tibial progression. The foot can be used for amputees at any speed or activity level and is suitable for everyday use. The Renegade LP offers the same features and benefits as the standard profile Renegade, but in a lower profile foot for those with decreased clearance due to a long residual limb. The Renegade is also water-resistant.
Össur Balance Foot S Torsion: Designed for low activity walkers, this lightweight and waterproof foot has a torsion shock unit that provides shock absorption and helps to reestablish rotational capabilities. It offers enhanced barefoot stability on wet or slippery surfaces.
Fillauer Wave Comfort 3: The Wave Comfort 3 brings an exceptional level of comfort to the low to moderate activity user. The unique tri-spring design elements work in concert to provide seamless transition and stable progression from heel-strike to toe-off. The coupled springs react in a compliant manner that promotes a supple feel while maintaining the dynamic response expected in carbon composite feet. The novel wave spring and variable durometer heel bumpers enhance stability at heel strike and plantar-flexion as the wave spring flexes and extends. The smooth action of the heel rocker combined with the stable dynamics of the forefoot insure a “wave of comfort” from heel to toe.
